The project involves the active participation of the County BehavioralWellness Department and Transitions Mental Health Association to establish and operate the Recovery Learning Center in 2800 square feet of community space in the project with mentally disabled clients. Additionally, Good Samaritan Shelter operates its support programs for persons recovering from substance abuse in an additional 5600 square feet of community space in the project. The new building will exceed Title 24 energy requirements and will include solar electric generation.
