    Frank Thompson serves as housing consultant for Santa Barbara Housing Assistance Corporation, general partner of 513 North G, LP, owner of this 9% low income housing tax credit project. Redstone Equity Partners acquired $6,300,000 in tax credits as the limited partner. Santa Barbara Bank and Trust made the $4,600,000 constuction loan for the project and participates with Redstone in the ownership. The project serves 27 or more mentally ill consumers at any one time, of whom 19 or more are formerly chronically homeless diagnosed with severe mental illness. The project received $750,000 in development funds and $300,000 of operating assistance under the Mental Health Services Act, as well as $1,519,960 in development funds and $142,500 in operating subsidies under the state Governor’s Homeless Initiative. The City of Lompoc provided over $2,000,000 of construction financing and a permanent loan of $150,000. The county HOME program provided $200,000. The Housing Authority of the County of Santa Barbara is the management agent. Transitions Mental Health Services provide supportive services for the residents and the community at the Recovery Learning Center located in the ground floor.
